Can't quite believe it's real! Still buzzing from the news that Jenna Corrigan Design Co. is a finalist in two categories at the UK Small Business Awards. This has given me such a boost of motivation! It’s a reminder that hard work and passion do pay off. I'm even more excited to keep pushing the boundaries and delivering the best possible website solutions for glamping and hospitality venues.

I design websites that not only look stunning but also incorporate essential tools like booking systems, payment processing, and marketing features. My goal is to simplify the online presence for busy venue owners and help them drive more direct bookings.

The Passion Behind the Business

My motives for starting Jenna Corrigan Design Co stem from a combination of passion and expertise. With over 16 years of experience in website design and digital marketing, I understand what makes a website effective. I am also passionate about the glamping and hospitality industry. I wanted to use my skills to help these businesses succeed.

Addressing Industry Challenges

I noticed that many glamping and hospitality businesses, particularly smaller venues, were struggling with their online presence. They were stuck with outdated, ineffective websites that didn’t showcase their unique offerings or drive direct bookings. As a result, they were losing potential guests, paying hefty commission fees to third-party platforms, and feeling overwhelmed by the techy side of things. I knew I could change that by providing them with beautiful, user-friendly websites and the tools to manage their online presence with confidence and clarity.

Overcoming Personal Challenges

The biggest challenge I’ve encountered has been launching my business after relocating to the UK. Moving from sunny South Africa in February 2022, I felt daunted by the idea of starting Jenna Corrigan Design Co while still adjusting to a new country. Nevertheless, I took that leap of faith and officially launched in January 2025. Without UK business experience and no established network, I had to build everything from the ground up. I learned the ins and outs of the local market while searching for clients and establishing credibility. It’s been a steep learning curve, but it has also made me incredibly determined to succeed.

The UK Small Business Awards celebrate the best of the best, recognising outstanding businesses and entrepreneurs across the UK. To be considered among them is an incredible honor. Achieving finalist status in two categories reaffirms my commitment to excellence in website design.

As I look ahead, my ambitions for Jenna Corrigan Design Co are expansive. I aim to expand my offerings to include more advanced features and tools that align with industry trends. Technology is always evolving, and I am committed to staying ahead of the curve. This means continuously updating and enhancing the services I provide.
